How is TQT implemented?

TQT is a different kind of ERP system that, in some ways, works the exact opposite of any other ERP system. TQT works based on your unique needs, rather than forcing you to change how you work in order to fit into the system (see "Overview - Introduction"). Because TQT is so different, it's implementation is handled in a completely different way than the implementation of traditional ERP systems.

Traditional ERP systems are complex and massive amounts of process re-tooling and training are needed in order to get them up and running. Help from the software vendor and/or outside consultants is generally required in order to help you shape your business to fit into the system.

Unlike traditional ERP systems, TQT is designed to be implemented by "in-house" staff. We strongly believe that the people on the ground (managers, workers, process owners, in short, the "strategy-holders") when working together, are best equipped to know how things work, or should work, in their organizations. The whole idea behind TQT is empowering users at all levels of the company to participate in the strategic and operational planning of the business and providing a system that can support your unique initiatives.

If you want to bring in an outside consultant to work with you on improving efficiency, re-working your processes or to help identify and document policy & procedures, you can certainly do that, but it is generally not required. It is, though, strongly discouraged to hire an outside consultant to be your Implementation Manager.

For more specific information on the TQT implementation and how much time you should plan for based on your unique situation, please contact us and we can arrange for a complimentary consultation.
